Let’s discover one of the largest film studios in the world 🎞!

Have you ever wondered where Game of Thrones ⚔️ , Gladiators or Prison Break⛓ were filmed? Today I am going to take you with me to the Moroccan 🇲🇦 city Ouarzazate. You will have the opportunity to see Moroccan castles. You will feel that you are in different places all at once: from  ancient Egypt to a medieval castle 🏰 to a Buddhist temple ☸️. And all of this in the middle of the desert 🌵🐪.
It will attract you and definitely make you want to visit it🤩!

First, let me introduce you to Ouarzazate city and its Kasbas.

Ouarzazate in Berber means the “The door of the desert”. It is situated here as you can see in this Map 🗺:

You can enjoy two different natural sides there: valleys with oasis and 🏝the golden dunes of the Moroccan desert 🏜.
This is Drâa Valley.
You will have the chance 🍀 to see a special type of architecture: the Berber architecture , which is very present in the Kasbas you will find in the city.
As you will notice in the following pictures Kasbas designate buildings of square plan with four towers. They are built by earthen, generally intended for the families of notables. They are decorated with Berber symbols.

Secondly, I am going to introduce you to one of the largest film studios in the world 🌍. It is Atlas Studios, which is the place where many famous movies and serials were filmed🎥. I am pretty sure the pictures I will post below are going to persuade you to visit the place😍!

This is the main entrance:

Here are some pictures from the place where Cleopatra’s movie was filmed.

And here are some other wonderful photos:

Finally, after discovering the beauty of this city, you can camp in the desert. It has a magical beauty🧞‍♂️.
This is Merzouga Desert:
You can camp over here and also have a trip riding camels. I advise you to do that if you have a chance to visit the area!

It is fascinating especially at night🤩.
The tents from inside are usually looking like this:

I definitely recommend Ouarzazate as a destination for your next trip🤩. For whom ever visited the place, do not hesitate to share your experience with us in a comment. And also if you have any questions please feel free to ask below.
