AliExpress- App review.

AliExpress is an online retail service based in China that is owned by the Alibaba Group. Launched in 2010, it is made up of small businesses in China and other locations, such as Singapore, that offer products to international online buyers. It facilitates small businesses to sell to customers all over the world.

Using the AliExpress app, you can buy many products, sometimes even imitations of famous brands, for a cheap price. All public can benefit from this app and it works as any  regular shopping apps. You only need to create an account, choose your currency and start your shopping.

The Good:

It is an App where you can find very good deals, pretty good quality with a cheap price. Moreover the App allows you to see and share comments about people’s experiences regarding the products. You are sure about the product before you buy it! Personally, I always find the comments that the buyers post are accurate. Moreover, they have some special offers like coupons and promo codes that you can earn by playing some games on the app. And also many sellers are offering their special discounts.

The Not-So-Good:

The majority of sellers claim that they provide tracking numbers. However,  there are no updates concerning the tracking number in the system. So you will have no traceability and you will have to wait for the product until it gets delivered to your house. And that can take from one to two months. And also, the App has some games and functionalities that allow you to invite someone else and you earn coupons while they play AliExpress games. However, this perk has limitations. It works only for 6 to 8 times and then it starts showing an error message. I tried it with different accounts and the same thing occurred, which means that it is not an accident but they trick you.

Be that as it may, I would say I still am an avid user of this app since its prices are unbeatable. I have at some point looked, for instance, into buying some swimsuits from a notably popular shopping website. However, after searching for the same exact item on Aliexpress, it turned out to be a lot cheaper. Granted, the delivery using the former service would have taken a much shorter time, but that does not personally bother me, as I do not mind waiting for my item if it meant I was not getting charged more than the item’s original price. Thus, I would gladly recommend shopping from Aliexpress.
